Choice takes place directly on your account, and the option to choose only becomes available during the monthly Choice event. Dates are posted each month to your personalized calendar of events. Click here for Choice dates. Keep in mind that Choice is available first-come, first-serve, and while supplies last.
When Choice rolls around and it's time for you to choose, you are choosing for your next month's box. For example, in January, you will choose for February's box.
📝Note for Luxe Subscribers: Since Luxe replaces the Base box every 3 months, Choice for Base will not become available to you if you're due to get Luxe. For example, Choice for the March Base box will not be available to you because March is a Luxe month and you will participate in the Choice Window for Luxe instead.
How to choose:
On the opening day of Choice, a Choice banner will appear on the homepage once the event becomes available. When your Choice window is open, follow these steps to submit your Choice:
- While logged in to your account, click the Choice banner on the homepage to access the Choice page.
- Click “CHOOSE THIS” under the item you want to receive. If shade options are available, click your preferred shade first. Note: if an item or shade is sold out, the “CHOOSE THIS” button will be gray and unclickable.
- If applicable, scroll down and choose for any additional Choice-eligible subscriptions. You won’t be able to submit until you’ve chosen for all eligible subscriptions on the page.
- Once you select your Choice(s), the other buttons will change to “ADD TO CART” to give you the option to buy Choice items if they're available in the store.
- When you’re finished adding to cart, make sure to submit your Choice by clicking “CONFIRM AND GET MORE”. Your Choice will not be saved otherwise!
- Submitting your Choice will redirect you to the featured store. Be sure to double-check your cart before checking out!
How to change your Choice:
You can only change your Choice while the Choice event is open. To do so, click the Choice banner on the homepage to return to the Choice page. For step-by-step instructions, click here to visit the article "How can I change my Choice?"
Trouble submitting your Choice?
If you're within your Choice Window and having issues submitting your Choice, try disabling ad blockers and refreshing the page. Otherwise, we recommend clearing your cache + cookies, and/or trying on a different browser. Keep in mind that you won't see a banner on the opening day of your Choice Window until Choice becomes available that day. If it's the opening day of your Choice Window and you're not sure if Choice is open yet, look out for a Story on @boxycharm Instagram & Facebook Stories notifying Choice is open. Opening times are posted to the calendar of member events on your homepage.
Please note: The option to submit will only become available once you've selected all of the Choices available to you for each of your subscriptions. Base members must choose 1 item. Luxe and Premium members must Choose 2 items before being able to submit.
How to receive your Choice:
You must remain Active status through the 1st of the new month to receive your Choice. You may not cancel your subscription and then re-subscribe before the new month, or experience an unsuccessful payment when it's time to renew your subscription on the 1st of the new month. If this happens, we won't be able to secure your Choice but will still personalize your Boxy based on your beauty preferences. We recommend double-checking that your payment information is up-to-date by the 1st of the new month. 🖤
